I'm Oliver Hawkins. I work as a statistical researcher at the House of Commons Library. I have previously worked as a current affairs journalist and a software developer.

Unsurprisingly, I am interested in data, computers and storytelling. This is an occasional blog combining those three things. I hope to use it as a platform for experimenting with data presentation and exploring ideas about statistical programming.

The views expressed here are my own. But as I have a professional responsibility to be politically impartial, the only views expressed here will be on geeky subjects of an apolitical nature.
